1. HAVING THE WRONG FRIENDS. If you hang around people who are not interested in gaining wealth, you more then likely will not be as well, as all their conversation will be about non-wealth building ideas.

2. HAVING THE WRONG JOB. If you have a dead end job that pays you minimum wage and there is no opportunity for either learning or advancement, you will always be poor, as we always spend more then we make.

3. HAVING THE WRONG SPOUSE. If your spouse is not interested in personal gain, then you will also not likely be interested in personal gain. You will more then likely will be interested in what they are, whether it be being out doors or watching TV or whatever.

4. HAVING THE WRONG BEHAVIOR OR ATTITUDE. If your behavior is wrong and your attitude is wrong there is no way to the top. If you are a negative thinker and if you’re a pessimist then there is only one way, and that way is not up.

5. LIVING IN THE WRONG PLACE. If you want to be financially successful and want to make it in the movie business, then you need to live where movies are made as this is where the opportunities are. They are not in some little urban community in the sticks somewhere.

We should also always remember that man has three constant urges that will never go away: 1. Sexual desire, 2. Self preservation, and 3. Pursuit of wealth.

The main difference between the rich and the poor is the difference in the attitude of the mind. The rich also realize that money cannot solve problems but it sure can calm the nerves.

Sensei talked at length about a person named Kenji Doihara, and that he had several ideas on wealth, as well. Doihara believed that men who surround themselves with beautiful women have a much better chance of making it then those who don’t. He also believed that if you want to ever exploit a man look for his weaknesses in food, women and or money. (Kenji Doihara was the one who approved the attack on Pearl Harbor and was hung for his war crimes in 1948 in Tokyo, Japan.)

Finally, Sensei Kim said that the proof about attaining money is that you must first give to get. It is that way in nature as it shows all the time. Before a plant or tree can have beautiful fruit it must first have beautiful flowers and before the beautiful flowers come beautiful leaves.
