Yulia de Wolfe began her training under Dennis Farbatiuk in 1973 in Hamilton, Canada, and later became a direct student of Sensei Kim’s.

She also traveled the world with Sensei Kim as part of his entourage in France, all over the USA and Canada.
She was well known for her strength and skill in kata. Although she rarely competed, she was a top-notch practitioner.

She moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, in the 1980s and helped to organize the Bu Toku Kai in western Canada.
